We like to think our decisions are logical. They rarely are.

But if you’re honest…

A lot of the time, the decision’s already been made before you even realise it.

Something feels right.
Or wrong.
And then the thinking kicks in afterwards to back it up.

I’ve been noticing it in myself lately.

That split second — just before I act, reply, decide.

Usually, I’d miss it completely.

But when you catch it… even briefly… you start to see what’s actually driving things.

Not to fix it.
Not to overthink it.

Just to see it.

Most blokes never get shown this.
We’re taught to push on, not look in.

But understanding what’s going on under the surface?
That’s where the real control is.
