Most of us spend months learning how to drive a car.
We learn how it works.
How to control it.
How to avoid hazards.
How to get the best from it.
We understand that if we don’t learn how to drive it properly, we’re likely to end up somewhere we never intended to be.
Yet many of us spend very little time learning how to drive the thing we travel through life in every day.
Our own mind.
Our own thinking.
Our own habits.
Our own reactions.
The vehicle carrying us through every decision, every relationship, every success and every setback.
We happily invest time learning to control a machine.
But how much time do we invest learning to understand the person behind the wheel?
Perhaps that’s why so many people feel as though life is driving them rather than the other way around.
